Sharing The Message Of Aloha

This is a collaboration to raise awareness about ROD (rapid ʻōhiʻa death) and to generate additional support and education about the cause.

Why Collab?

Tamba has always been about supporting the community.  It's an important function of any local business to give back, and Tamba has adhered to this tenet since day one.  So a collab just comes naturally to us.

Tamba was talking this year with Pulu.life founder Kuio Young about new ways to give back, and they wanted to find a positive way to do it together.  Pulu's focus embodies the diverse and growing movements of life, and a big part of that energy comes out of the Pulu nursery, which produces healthy fruit and seasonal trees.  From this conversation, they sought out and found the ʻŌhiʻa Love Fest and reached out to put the collab together.

Through the process, we've learned about the importance of supporting this cause, just how vital the ʻōhiʻa is to life on these islands.  We strongly encourage you to read and learn more by clicking here, and to get involved in this and other important causes as a member of the planet.

Some companies might collab but only with an eye on extending their own profits.  While profits are not inherently bad by themselves, we believe it's our kuleana to collab with no intention to profit from it, but rather to meet our responsibilities as good citizens and put the cause first and foremost.

This is our first endeavor under the #Collab4ACause hashtag and we sure intend for it to be the first of many.  Mahalo Nui for your support!
