Anahola Beach Clean Up

Having clean beaches on Kaua'i is very important to Tamba. The beach and the ocean are our playground. Every time I go to the beach I make an effort to pick up trash. I try to leave it nicer then it was when I arrived.

This weekend we participated in a huge beach clean up organized by the Surfrider Foundation ,B-Rad Foundation , and Sustainable Coastlines. The main focus of the clean up was Anahola Beach Park and Kapa'a Bay. A total of 7640 lbs were removed with the help of over 200 people. Prizes were given away, including a bunch of Tamba trucker hats, and we got a free concert by Sashamon.  Free juice and shave ice was provided by Kalalea Juice Hale.

A huge mahalo to all the volunteers!
